X expands user base in Albania/ Three out of four users identified by the platform are male

Platform X continues to grow its presence in Albania. According to data published by Data.Report. and the company's advertising tools, at the end of 2025 the platform counted around 272 thousand users in the country, a figure that represented 9.8% of the total population.
The data shows that the platform's usage was higher in the age groups eligible for its use. Around 11.4% of people over the age of 13 and 11.8% of adults over 18 were part of X's audience. Meanwhile, the platform's advertising reach represented 11.1% of internet users in Albania.
In terms of user profiles, the company reported that 74.1% of its advertising audience was male, while 25.8% was female. However, experts advise caution in interpreting this data, as X determines gender through analysis of activity and profile information, not through direct user statements.
The increase in the platform's usage also reflects the growing interest in social networks focused on real-time information, public discussions and current affairs content. X remains one of the most used platforms by professionals, media, politicians and businesses to distribute news and communicate with their audiences, maintaining an important role in the global digital ecosystem.
The platform has also seen significant growth over the year. According to advertising data, X's potential audience in Albania expanded by 26,000 users, or 10.6%, compared to the end of 2024. Even stronger growth was recorded between July and October 2025, when the number of users reachable through advertising increased by 29.5%.
