Government decision, the budget will subsidize social enterprises with 210 million lek
The government has decided to support social enterprises with 210 million lek for the period 2026-2028. According to the government's decision, the forms of support for social enterprises through subsidies are:
a) supporting the creation of new jobs by paying the minimum wage to employees of social enterprises belonging to disadvantaged groups;
b) support in the payment of mandatory social and health insurance for employees of social enterprises, who belong to disadvantaged groups.
Social enterprises that benefit from subsidies for the creation of new jobs must have:
a) a 3-year draft proposal;
b) document certifying the increase in the number of employees, with representatives from disadvantaged groups, identified in social protection and employment programs, according to the legislation in force.
According to the government's decision, each social enterprise will be able to benefit from up to 14 million lek in support over a period of three years.
