US Embassy: Increase vigilance, Iran-linked groups may also target Albania
The United States Embassy in Tirana has requested increased vigilance from citizens. According to this embassy, Albania is not out of the focus of the attacks. The embassy's announcement states:
"Iranian-affiliated groups may target U.S.-affiliated entities or Iranian opposition elements in Albania. They may also target common locations, such as tourist sites, shopping malls, hotels, clubs, and restaurants. We encourage U.S. citizens to exercise increased vigilance."
