Olive oil and vineyards are given access to funds - 5.5 million euros for the Investment Scheme, criteria and benefit measure
The government has made 5.5 million euros available to support the agricultural sector during 2025 through the Investment Scheme, significantly expanding the range of potential beneficiaries.
Specifically, this fund will go towards investments in the construction of new solar greenhouses for vegetables, strawberries and table grapes, including the installation of an irrigation system, with a minimum area of 0.2 ha and a maximum area of 2 ha.
The benefit amount should be 50% of the total value of tax invoices, but not more than: 15 million lek/ha for vegetable production greenhouses; 8 million lek/ha for table grape production greenhouses; 4 million lek/ha for strawberry production greenhouses (plastic tunnels).
For new plantings of fruit trees, olive trees, citrus trees and vineyards, financing is provided for an area of no less than 0.5 ha and no more than 10 ha. The benefit amount will be 50% of the total value of tax invoices, but not more than 800 thousand lek/ha.
Farmers who install drip irrigation systems will receive an additional payment. The amount of the benefit will be 50% of the total value of tax invoices, but not more than 250 thousand lekë/ha.
For nets for the protection of production from hail in existing blocks with fruit trees, citrus trees and vineyards, the benefit amount shall be 50% of the total value of tax invoices, but not more than 1.5 million lekë/ha. Financing shall be provided for an area of not less than 1 ha and not more than 5 ha.
For drip irrigation systems in existing orchards, olive groves, citrus groves and vineyards, the benefit amount will be 50% of the total value of tax invoices, but not more than 250 thousand lek.
Construction of new facilities for animal breeding and poultry raising, including the necessary equipment/systems, with a capacity of no less than 10 cows, no less than 100 small animals, no less than 10 sows and no less than 10 thousand poultry.
The benefit amount will be 50% of the total value of tax invoices, but not more than 15 million lek per entity.
Mechanization and modernization of work processes on agricultural and livestock farms, the benefit amount to be 50% of the total value of tax invoices, but not more than 5 million lek per entity.
Lines/machinery/equipment for processing, selecting, packaging and labeling vegetables, fruits, grapes and wine, olives and olive oil at 50% of the total value of tax invoices, but not more than 7.5 million lek per entity.
Investments in argotism and marine aquaculture for fish breeding baskets with a benefit measure of 50% of the total value of tax invoices, but not more than 15 million per entity.
The decision also stipulates that beneficiaries of financing from investment support measures, after signing the contract, will be paid in advance up to 30% of the contracted financing amount, against a payment guarantee issued by an insurance company and/or bank.
