Durrës-Rrogozhinë – Balluku railway line: the EU grant agreement of 60.5 million euros is ratified!
The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, also Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, announced today through social networks that the Albanian government has ratified the EU grant agreement for the Durrës - Rrogozhina railway line worth 60.5 million euros.
This railway is considered an important node of "Corridor VIII" connecting Albania, Italy, Bulgaria and North Macedonia, while the Corridor aims to bring civil, economic and military benefits.
The investment has a value of 120.5 million euros and will be covered by a grant from the EU and loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as the European Investment Bank.
