Pink October, between awareness and marketing - SCAN TV observation/ Women's care turns into a commercial offer

This phenomenon is known as "pinkwashing", a term coined by the organization Breast Cancer Action, which has been fighting for years against campaigns that use the cause of breast cancer for commercial gain.
There are many companies that collaborate with organizations or hospitals so that a portion of their profits for the month of October go to serve the cause, but if you take a look at Albanian businesses, especially small ones, there is no announcement that the proceeds will be used for sick women, or to offer consultations, but it is misunderstood as a month where women can find any service at a discount, not necessarily related to health.
However, this is not just an Albanian issue, even well-known international companies, such as fast food, alcoholic beverages, or carbonated drinks, have used Pink October for marketing campaigns, often raising ethical questions and alarming experts about the effects that these products have on women's health, but not only.
