The Ministry of Finance also informs that compared to the planned plan for this period, revenues were realized 4.8% more, or 1.5 billion lek above expectations.
According to data from the General Directorate of Customs, this increase is a result of increased imports of fuel, cigarettes, alcoholic beverages and coffee.
During the first half of the year, 44,000 tons more fuel, 96 tons more cigarettes, 97 tons more coffee, and 4,770 tons more beer were cleared, compared to January-June 2024.
