Taxes launch investigation against 100 individuals: 33 million euros undeclared from social platforms!
The Investigation Directorate at the General Directorate of Taxes has launched a broad investigation into 100 individuals and entities who have benefited from income through social platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Google and PayPal.
According to the GDT, from preliminary verifications conducted, it is suspected that the amount of undeclared income amounts to around 33 million euros.
The investigation comes after the call made by the Tax Administration at the end of March, through social networks, where individuals and entities were asked to fulfill their legal obligations through self-declaration on the DIVA 2024 platform.
Despite this call, many taxpayers have not reacted, which has prompted authorities to take further investigative steps.
The Tax Administration appeals to all those who have not yet completed their self-declaration to complete this obligation as soon as possible, in order to avoid penalties and other punitive measures that may result from a more in-depth investigation.
