Cultural heritage sites/ Gonxha: 21,800 visitors during January alone!
The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, published on social media the figures for January for visits to our cultural sites, which welcomed 21,800 visitors.
Gonxhja listed the most popular sites to visit last month, with the National Museum "Gjergj Kastrioti" in Krujë ranking first in terms of visitation:
· National Museum “Gjergj Kastrioti” - 4,000 visitors
· Shkodra Archaeological Park – 3,836 visitors
· Gjirokastra Castle – 2,882 visitors
· National Museum of Wiretapping “House with Leaves” – 2,261 visitors
· Iconographic Museum "Onufri" Berat – 1,928 visitors
Cultural heritage sites have seen continuous growth, with the number of visitors reaching 1.3 million last year, both foreign and domestic.
