How will the start-up ecosystem develop? - Ymeri: The Agency will use technical and financial instruments

The development of the startup ecosystem is one of the main focuses of the Startup Albania agency. According to the director of this agency, two main instruments will be used, which will serve as the next step in the development of new ideas.
Arjan Ymeri Director of Startup Albania Agency:
"We are focused on technical and financial instruments. Technical instruments have more to do with exploration or support through various programs. This is a technical instrument that we offer. The other instrument is support to start the internationalization process which has more to do with exposing the products and services that companies build beyond the Albanian market."
Meanwhile, the second instrument is the financial one which also supports group financing or as it is called crowdfunding.
"The financial instrument has more to do with crowdfunding, which is one of the instruments that the World Bank is developing and we have been interested from the beginning, that this instrument moves as quickly as possible, that it is adopted as well as possible by our market and the agency has the duty to promote it in the best possible way so that we see it as a potential to develop it. Crowdfunding is an instrument and we also have other instruments that deal with investments from individuals."
According to Ymer, grants will be present to support new ideas, which will remain one of the main instruments for start-ups to grow in our country and have longevity in the operation of their activity.
