Albania–Turkey, a common vision for investments in tourism - Muhamed Isler: It is the locomotive of the Albanian economy

An activity on tourism sectoral development was organized in Tirana with the focus on Albania as a tourist destination for the next 12 months. The head of Musiad Albania, Muhamed Isler, stated that the strategic field in Albania is currently tourism.
"We decided to start with the tourism sector, because the investment perspective in Albania is being assessed, we believe that tourism is the first and most strategic area that comes to mind. Tourism is one of the locomotive sectors that is accelerating economic growth. At this point, three things are critically important, quality investments, accessibility and connections, and sustainable growth."
This activity also clearly presented the shared vision between Turkey and Albania, the willingness to invest, and the growth objectives that have been set in the field of tourism.
"Albania's tourism has experienced significant development in recent years, and has now become one of the most dynamic destinations. Our goal is to make this growth sustainable and position Albania as a tourist destination that lives 12 months of the year. Every contact or conversation that will take place today will set new tourism records in 2026 and in the years to come," said Sinan Tekin, Vice President of MUSIAD Albania.
In his speech, the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports, Blendi Gonxhja, emphasized that we must learn from the services and quality of Turkish services in the tourism sector, while highlighting the importance of Turkish investments in Albania.
