Albania prepares to host "crypto giants" - Dokuzi: A clear indicator that the country is ready for crypto adoption
Representatives from the most popular cryptocurrency platforms, such as Binance, Bitget, as well as one of the pioneers who adopted the world's largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Nick Spanos, will share their experiences in Tirana, at the Balkans Crypto conference.
"This conference is among the largest in the region, focused on digital finance, and the fact that it is taking place in Albania is a clear indicator that the country is ready to adopt cryptocurrencies. It will be a very good innovation for Albania," says cryptocurrency market expert, Shahin Dokuzi.
The conference will focus mainly on young people, as the Cointelegraph Pitch Competition will also be organized, which aims to discover the most promising startups in the field of cryptocurrencies.
"The main benefit will be in terms of learning. There will not be just standard lectures, but issues of the cryptocurrency market will be specifically addressed. Also, the conference will help in establishing contacts with international representatives," says Mr. Docuzi.
According to data from Chainalysis, the number of investment portfolios in Albania is estimated at around 50 thousand, as the country is preparing for a new step of development in this sector.
