Albania modernizes military infrastructure - Armed Forces, with new campus according to NATO standards
The Armed Forces Academy will now have a new campus, which will offer modern spaces for study, training, accommodation, sports and more.
In a post on social media, Prime Minister Edi Rama shared photos from the Armed Forces Academy campus project.
He states that "This is the multifunctional project of the Armed Forces Academy, conceived by the world-renowned company "Bofill Taller de Arquitectura", which reflects a new architectural spirit where academic, training, sports, logistics and command areas merge, to move the academic campus towards the contemporary NATO concept."
The Albanian government is investing in the modernization of military infrastructure, starting with the Armed Forces, for which it aims to build a campus according to the most modern standards of the Alliance.
In February, the call for the recruitment of new soldiers and sailors was opened. Investing in human capital remains our focus, says Rama, while from the applications that were to close on March 31, there has been a significant increase in the number of those interested in the new season, with a total of 1,634 young people interested in Bachelor programs.
