"Sheba Medical Center", strategic partner of QSUNT - Oncology Hospital will be transformed into a state-of-the-art service
The Oncology Hospital at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center will be transformed into a state-of-the-art service, opening a new chapter of progress for the public hospital service thanks to the collaboration with "Sheba Medical Center" of Israel, one of the world's leading medical institutions, which is now officially the strategic partner of the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center (MUST).
According to Prime Minister Edi Rama, this cooperation aims to strengthen the capacities of the oncology service, increase standards and provide modern solutions for the health of citizens.
"This is not a formal partnership, nor is it a casual or sporadic exchange of experience, but it is a strategic alliance, based on the understanding that side by side with the leadership of Sheba Hospital, side by side with the doctors of Sheba Hospital, we will manage to create a synergy that will make the University Hospital Center 2030 a model of excellence for Albania and the entire region in the coming years." - Prime Minister Rama expressed, among other things, in his speech.
Israel's prestigious hospital is ranked ninth in the overall ranking of hospitals around the world.
I am very optimistic today for the further progress of the transformation of the University Hospital Center and for the transformation of the Oncology Hospital, starting from the Oncology Hospital, into a meaningful reflection of an excellent health service in Albania because this is not a formal partnership, nor is it a casual or sporadic exchange of experience, but it is a strategic alliance based on the understanding that arm in arm with the leadership of Sheba Hospital, arm in arm with the doctors of Sheba Hospital, we will manage to create a synergy that will make the 2030 University Hospital Center an example of excellence for Albania and the entire region in this period of several years that we have ahead.
According to the Prime Minister, the ambition of this partnership is for the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center to first raise its management level to European standards and best international practices.
