Sanitary worker in season with 1200 euro salary! - Dervishi: The reason is the lack of labor and the increase in tourists
Waiters, bartenders, pizza chefs, cooks and even cleaners, resorts and hotels from south to north have started their engines for this new summer season with job announcements offering salaries much higher than last year, starting from 700 euros plus high tips for waiters, and up to 1200 euros for cleaners.
The shortage of labor, on the one hand, and the significant increase in the number of tourists, on the other, have caused salaries to increase significantly this year, forcing hotels to look to the banks of the country's high schools to meet employee needs.
According to the National Employment and Skills Agency, there are over 200 job vacancies for various seasonal positions.
But this represents only the "tip of the iceberg" compared to the numerous announcements found on other employment portals.
