Around 766 thousand passengers in November - Tirana International Airport, an important travel point in the region

During the month of November, 765,890 passengers used Tirana International Airport. According to official data, in the eleventh month of the year, 4,490 flights were operated, to 67 destinations and 21 countries, with the 5 main destinations being Milan, London, Rome, Bologna and Pisa.
20 airlines operated at this airport during November. This month, Tirana International Airport continued to strengthen its role as one of the most important travel hubs in the region. TIA remains the main travel gateway for Albanians and visitors choosing to fly to and from Tirana.
According to data from INSTAT, 1.282 million Albanian and foreign citizens entered Albania in November. This indicator has increased by 1.4%, compared to November 2024. On the other hand, 1.322 million Albanian and foreign citizens have left Albania, marking an annual increase of 3.7%.
The majority of these movements were from Tirana International Airport.
TIA is also investing in digitization and improving the passenger experience, through electronic gates for faster border controls; advanced security scanners; expanded parking with over 1,900 spaces and a multi-story structure; digital boarding passes, avoiding waiting at counters. These measures have significantly increased efficiency and created an easier and faster experience for passengers.
