Repair of the Vorë-Ura e Dajlanit road - Traffic is released after the decision of the ARRSH to carry out works at night
Stand up - This was the traffic situation on Monday when work began to repair several roads on the Tirana-Durrës highway, while this is the situation now, after the Albanian Road Authority decided to change the traffic management plan, with the aim of facilitating traffic and guaranteeing road safety during the works phase.
Starting from the evening of October 14, works to repair the asphalt layers on the Vorë–Ura e Dajlanit road segment have been carried out overnight, from 23:00 to 06:00 in the morning. During this time frame, temporary traffic closures will be implemented in the Vorë–Durrës direction, in the Vorë – Maminas, Maminas – Sukth, Sukth – Fllakë, Fllakë – Mbikalimi i Shkozetit, Mbikalimi i Shkozetit – Ura e Dajlanit segments.
The duration of the works is expected to be up to 2 days for each segment, depending on weather conditions and work progress.
During the traffic closure hours, road users will have to follow the alternative route such as Vorë – Maminas – Katër trësë e Shijakut – Durrës.
After the completion of the works on the Vorë-Durres direction, the intervention will continue on the other side of the highway, Dajlanit Bridge - Vorë, following the same work plan and timeline for each segment.
Interventions on this axis have a value of 50.8 million lek, excluding VAT.
At the end of the intervention, the Tirana-Durres highway will offer a higher standard of safety and comfort, significantly reducing current traffic problems and road surface depreciation.
