Reconstruction of the electrical network in Shkodra - OSSH opens the competition, aiming for a safer and more stable network

The Regional Directorate of the Public Distribution System (OSSH) in Shkodra has announced the tender for the reconstruction of a part of the electricity network in the Rrjoll area. A limited fund of 118 million and 488 thousand lek has been made available for the realization of this investment.
According to documents published by the Public Procurement Agency, the project envisages the replacement and improvement of the electrical network with new equipment and materials, which will be in accordance with standards and will ensure a more stable supply of electricity.
As part of the investment, new cables will be installed, electrical cabinets will be reconstructed, and worn-out poles will be replaced with new ones. The materials that will be used will be suitable to withstand different weather conditions and network loads, in order to avoid defects and increase security of supply.
The project also foresees the installation of new connecting equipment and other auxiliary elements, which will increase the security and efficiency of the network operation. The aim is to make the infrastructure more stable, reducing the risk of faults and power outages.
Meanwhile, all works and materials will be in accordance with international standards, so that the network functions safely and in the long term. Also, the poles and equipment that will be installed will guarantee durability and resistance to weather conditions.
According to the document at the Public Procurement Agency, this investment aims to modernize the electrical infrastructure in the area, reduce breakdowns, and guarantee a higher quality and safer supply of electricity for residents supplied by this line.
