Rama presents the Chief Digital Inspectorate of Territory/ The new structure will monitor every corner of the country
Prime Minister Edi Rama today introduced a new state structure, called the Chief Digital Inspectorate of Territory, which according to him represents another step towards modernizing governance and strengthening control over the Albanian territory.
Through a video shared on social media, Rama announced that this Chief Inspectorate has begun collecting data in the field as a preliminary phase for the implementation of new legal measures.
"I present to you another innovation of governance: the Chief Digital Inspectorate of Territory."
The video is a short fragment of the information that this Chief Inspectorate is collecting across Albania, to begin work on implementing new legal measures for territorial control.
"This Chief Inspectorate will step by step cover the entire range of social and state activities in the territory, from construction control to local taxes and fees, from agricultural production to the protection of forests and rivers, making the work of the relevant structures easier, as well as making various oppressions much more difficult," Rama explained.
This development comes within the framework of digital reforms undertaken by the Albanian government in recent years, with the aim of improving public services and strengthening the rule of law at all levels.
