The government appoints 3 new deputy ministers for energy, health and foreign affairs
At this Thursday's meeting, the government made several new appointments to the positions of deputy ministers.
Former Shkodra MP and former Minister of State for the Protection of Entrepreneurship, Edona Bilali, has been appointed Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy.
Eugena Tomini has been reappointed Deputy Minister of Health, after heading the Institute of Public Health for 4 years. She held the position of Deputy Minister of Health for several months in 2021, while previously she headed the Epidemiological Investigation at the IHP. Silva Caka, who has now become part of the government from being an advisor to the Freedom Party, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Interior. Caka has been a member of the Tirana Municipal Council, under the Freedom Party's logo.
She replaces former Deputy Minister Andi Mahila, who was dismissed from office a few days ago by order of the new Minister, Albana Koçiu.
One of the government's decisions was the approval of the dismissal of Mayor Erion Veliaj.
At its meeting, the government, with special decisions, defined the areas of responsibility for each of the new ministries, part of the Rama 4 government structure.
