Energy in the first government decisions / 30 MW TPP in Ersekë and 20 million euro loan for OSHEE
The government has approved the construction of a 30 MW photovoltaic power plant in Ersekë. The investment is expected to be completed within 36 months and will have a 49-year operating period. The company will report every three months on the progress of the works, must respect environmental conditions and submit contract security in the amount of 5% of the investment.
The Council of Ministers also approved the guarantee agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Tirana for a loan of 20 million euros. This loan is linked to the Universal Service Provider (FSHU), OSHEE Group, the Distribution System Operator (DOSH) and the Free Market Supplier (FTL), to support the functioning of the energy distribution system.
