National Center for Construction Monitoring - Rama: 24-hour control with GPS!
At the meeting he held today in Durrës with the mayors of municipalities, on local performance in function of the "Albania 2030" vision and the unstoppable path towards membership in the European Union, Rama said that "today we are in conditions where we cannot remain alone in the eyes of the people in the territory and when we are doing things together to have a technological control over the territory that guarantees us, just as the National Road Traffic Monitoring Center has started its work and will become completely technological with the new project that we have already started with the United Arab Emirates, the same will be done with the territory".
Rama emphasized that, "the inspection of the territory, in terms of construction, must be supported by a great technological power with the drones and satellites that we have, but also with a dedicated structure that, like the Traffic Monitor Center, we must also build the Territory Monitoring Center."
According to him, the Territory Monitoring Agency has also prepared a regulation for all construction companies.
"All construction companies for profit, we are talking about buildings and buildings that have certain impacts on the lives of residents during construction, will be forced to equip all construction sites with 24-hour online cameras and be monitored in real time by inspection forces. Just as construction sites of all types should be equipped with GPS so that all their traffic can be monitored, also in order to properly dispose of site waste and materials that enter and exit, in construction sites where there is considerable evasion," said Rama, while noting that the legislation will strengthen the role and responsibility of the architect.
