Social Albania, Koçiu: The government's main focus starts with housing for couples and young families
Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu has presented the government's new priority for the political season, with a focus on improving the quality of life of citizens.
"Social Albania" will launch this fall with a new housing program for couples and young families.
At the start of the new political season, the government will put "Social Albania" at the center of attention, with the aim of ensuring that the country's economic development translates into more opportunities, social policies, and welfare for citizens.
Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu states that "Albania has entered a new phase of development, where the objective is no longer just construction or the provision of services, but for the improvement to be felt directly in the daily life of every family."
"Our challenge is for every family to feel the improvement in their daily lives."
According to Deputy Prime Minister Koçiu, the priority will be to increase the quality of education and healthcare, support for young families, farmers, pensioners and small businesses.
Another focus will be creating more opportunities for young people who want to build their future in Albania.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the European integration process must be accompanied by concrete improvements in the lives of citizens. "The European standard should not remain just an objective on paper. It should be felt in every service, in every community and in the life of every citizen," she said.
The first concrete step of this approach will launch this fall, with the new housing program for couples and young families, placing housing as one of the first interventions within the framework of "Social Albania".
The government aims through this approach that the country's growth and development translate into more opportunities and security for citizens, with the family, youth, and social welfare at the center of new policies.
