Protests in Greece, land travel postponed - Ndreu: Costs have increased, tourists demand compensation
For several days, massive protests by farmers in Greece with tractors on national roads and crossing points have led to repeated road and customs blockages, causing chain delays for Albanian tourist agencies traveling to Greece and Turkey by bus and land vehicles. The biggest problem was during the November holidays.
But what costs has this delay brought? Ndreu explains that many trips have been postponed and tourists are demanding a refund, but payments to hotels are made in advance.
Tourist agencies say the situation remains dynamic and dependent on the decisions of protesters and the Greek police.
