European integration process/ Balla in Berlin: Environment, among the most challenging chapters
The Chairman of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, and the Chairman of the Committee for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, during their stay in Berlin, held a meeting with Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter, State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
Balla informed that the meeting discussed Albania's progress in negotiations with the European Union, with a particular focus on Chapter 27 - Environment and Climate Change.
He described this as one of the most challenging and key chapters for the integration process.
"Germany is a key supporter of Albania's European path and we are grateful for the strong partnership in advancing reforms and achieving EU standards," said Balla.
