The General Director of the State Police is introduced - Hita: Citizen safety is the greatest obligation
The Director General of the Senior State Police, Skënder Hita, was introduced today, who has a 25-year career in the blue uniform.
In his speech, Hita spoke about the priorities in running this institution.
Our priorities are clear: The uncompromising fight against organized crime and corruption, starting from our own ranks, further increasing security parameters in schools and in every community, strengthening order and security throughout the country, modernizing the Police through technology, including the major "Smart City" project and training, according to the best European standards, further increasing transparency and accountability towards citizens; support and motivation for every police officer who performs his duty with honesty and dedication; further strengthening cooperation with international partners and law enforcement agencies at home and abroad.
Among other things, Hita stated that citizen safety is the greatest obligation of the State Police. According to him, cooperation and trust between us are essential to building a safer society.
