"For Jews, Albania is home" - Rama: Joint summit with Israel, opportunity to guarantee cybersecurity

The Albania-Israel Summit brings together 40 innovative Israeli companies to ensure cybersecurity and strengthen the economy of Albania and the region through cutting-edge technology. Also present at the opening of the Summit was Prime Minister Edi Rama, who stated that this is a partnership built on high human values and historical gratitude between our two countries, dating back to the shelter of Jews in times of difficulty.
He thanked the Israelis for the support they provided when the country's cyber defenses were breached by the Iranians.
"In fact, we were very pleased when Israel behaved as a friend and offered us help, and thanks to this help we survived this attack. We learned that we need to invest and build a defense system, and it is not easy, because our system had to provide protection from a not easy opponent, and we cut off all relations with Iran. Today we have another level of cyber defense, thanks to the help of Israel and its talents ," the Prime Minister emphasized.
According to him, through technology, the country can take many steps forward and for this we enjoy the support of Israel.
"I believe that from this relationship that I want to strengthen day by day with your country and people, we can avoid some mistakes. For Jews, Albania is home, there is no anti-Semitism in Albania. We have also seen a 700% increase in Jewish visitors coming to Albania, we recently had a direct flight and I hope to have as many exchanges with you as possible. We want to learn from you, to become better, " he said.
The Albania-Israel summit aims to further expand cooperation between the two countries.
