"After School", registration in the SMIP system - Duro: Students, at school until 15:00
Parents who want to include their children in the "After School" program must apply for registration, as participation is not automatic. Deputy Minister of Education, Herida Duro, in an interview with SCAN television provides details on the process, which will begin immediately after school registrations close.
Students who will attend the program will stay at school until 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. Duro says this decision was made after extensive consultation.
It will be the parents themselves who will provide food for their children, while Duro states that this decision was made for the safety of the students, until the proper conditions are created in all schools.
Participation will be voluntary, while activities will be organized in groups, depending on the students' requests and the capacities of each school.
