Italian island for sale for 5.5 million euros - Crevan offers a luxury residence and boat mooring

A private island in the heart of the Venetian Lagoon has been put up for sale for 5.5 million euros, offering a rare combination of privacy, luxury and history.
The island of Crevan, with an area of about 5,700 square meters, is located about 7.5 kilometers from Venice and is surrounded by the waters of the lagoon. The property offers panoramic views towards the famous Venetian islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello.
For boat owners, the island has two boat moorings, as well as a shipyard that provides direct access to the water.
But the main feature of Crevan is its history. The island is home to a restored Napoleonic-era fortress, which was later converted into a 215-square-meter residence.
The house has retained part of its historic layout and features four bedrooms and three bathrooms, while its position offers direct views of the lagoon.

According to Dimitri Corti, founder and director of Lionard Luxury Real Estate, the property offers the opportunity to be close to Venice, but at the same time enjoy a high degree of isolation and privacy.
Crevan can only be reached by water or helicopter, making it one of the most special properties in the lagoon area.
Near the island are Burano, known for its colorful houses and lace tradition, as well as Torcello, one of the lagoon's most peaceful and historic islands.
Beyond luxury, the future buyer will also own a piece of the heritage of the Venetian Lagoon, in one of Italy's most popular tourist destinations.
