Social and tourist park, 333 million lek for Eco Park Dumrea - ADF opens tender for multifunctional complex
The Albanian Development Fund has announced the opening of the competition for investments for the establishment of tourist products in new areas with development potential, the Eco Park Dumrea area in Belsh, enrichment with new functions, 'Social Educational and Cultural Park. The estimated fund limit is 333 million and 143 thousand lekë.
According to the document at the Public Procurement Agency, this investment aims to turn the park into a modern natural, educational and recreational tourism destination.
The intervention will take place in the Belsh lakes area, along the northern shore of Lake Marina, one of the most important points of the Dumre lake system. The project relies on the natural character of the area, aiming to develop sustainable tourism without affecting the existing landscape.
The new concept transforms Eco Park Dumrea into a social, educational and cultural park, where visitors will have the opportunity to combine outdoor recreation with sports, recreational activities and environmental education programs. According to the document, new accommodation areas with glamping, camping and tree houses, integrated with the natural environment, are envisaged. The project includes the construction of 14 "tree houses", designed to accommodate up to 84 visitors, as well as 14 modern safari glamping tents, equipped with all conditions for use throughout the year.
A significant part of the investment is related to the creation of spaces for education and community activities. The park will include modular outdoor classrooms, educational greenhouses, didactic mini-farms, multifunctional pavilions and a hall with a capacity of up to 250 people for cultural activities, training and events.
The project also envisages the construction of an open amphitheater, where artistic and cultural activities will take place, as well as the creation of an area dedicated to adventure and outdoor education for children and school groups. To enrich the tourist offer, Eco Park Dumrea will have a semi-Olympic swimming pool, restaurant, pedestrian area, picnic area, playgrounds, sports fields and paintball, while the existing zip-line will continue to be one of the main attractions of the park.
According to the architectural project, the interventions will be realized with natural materials, such as wood and local stone, using ecological technologies, renewable energy, and sustainable systems for water and waste management.
The main objective is to create a new tourist destination with contemporary standards, attracting domestic and foreign visitors.
