Forecast, heavy rainfall expected in the Drini basin, KESH real-time monitoring

Hydrometeorological forecasts indicate a worsening atmospheric situation in the Drin River basin during November 17-23, with intense rainfall expected to peak on November 18-19 and 22. The most affected areas will be Theth–Valbonë and Shkodër–Pukë.
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, rainfall amounts are expected to reach up to 150–200 mm in Fierza, while in Koman and Vau i Dejës a maximum of up to 300 mm is predicted.
Also, according to the Ministry of Energy, "The Albanian Electric Power Corporation is monitoring the situation in real time, while the operation of the Drini cascade is being carried out within the technical conditions and quotas set by the regulations in force."
Meanwhile, the ministry appeals for increased caution from citizens living in the surrounding areas, due to the increased risk posed by high-intensity rainfall during this period.
