Fiscal Peace, Prime Minister shows the profitable businesses - Rama: There is no and there will be no benefit for builders

Prime Minister Rama has presented the Fiscal Peace package to the business community. The head of government indicated that this initiative is an opportunity for businesses to self-correct and benefit from a much lower tax rate than the regular one.
"It is an instrument to enable all enterprises that are not in conflict with the law, of course, that are not in investigative or judicial processes of various natures and that appear in the state registers as legitimate contributors to review their fiscal statements of previous years. This review gives enterprises the opportunity to correct themselves, to self-correct by redoing the declarations of previous years and having as motivation, as incentive a much lower tax on profit than the tax you pay regularly, so, for each corrected statement, the profit is taxed at only 5%."
But Rama explained that not all categories of businesses will benefit from fiscal peace.
"There is no peace with the builders, there will be none. Precisely because it is the main sector and it must perform with maximum responsibility. What support do you want? The first of the work once, because I caught it from the client, now I am catching it from the workers. Support you, who still declare employees with 500 thousand lek, when you and I know it very well, and I am convinced that if we go and ask the fish of the artificial lake, they will confirm to us that there is no employee with 500 thousand lek, with a minimum wage in construction, there is none. Not in Tirana, but anywhere. You don't get 500 thousand lek for a man of the world to lay a slab for you, not to receive a salary of 500 thousand lek per month and you continue to have a declaration in the sector, but it is not your fault. The Constitutional Court has tied our hands and a few years ago it decided that we cannot set a ceiling for you, and you are playing around" , said Rama.
The implementation of fiscal peace will come into effect from January next year.
