From security to investment: ALBSIG welcomes media to modern facilities at Downtown One

ALBSIG, part of the Kastrati Group, welcomed media representatives to its new premises in the iconic Downtown One building, where a press conference was held with the leaders of Albsig, Albsig Jetë and Albsig Invest, followed by an exclusive tour of the companies’ modern facilities. This event marks an important moment for the group, reflecting its philosophy of long-term investments, innovation and sustainable development in the Albanian insurance and finance market.
Persistence, faith and dedication
In his speech at the press conference, Plarent Hamzaj, Deputy General Director of ALBSIG, emphasized that sustainability and trust are the foundations on which Albsig has built its development over the years. He underlined that the company has continuously invested in innovation, technology and improving the customer experience, making fairness and transparency inseparable pillars of its work culture.
Hamzaj added that ALBSIG's vision is to be a long-term partner for clients and financial institutions, contributing to strengthening trust in the insurance industry and the sustainable development of the Albanian market.
According to him, the importance of a company is not measured only by size, but by how it stands by its customers in their moments of greatest need — and this is precisely what has made Albsig a respected name in the market for more than two decades.
In his speech, Dritan Kastrati, Deputy General Director of ALBSIG, emphasized that the company's results in handling and paying claims are clear evidence of the correctness and seriousness that Albsig has built over the years.
For more than a decade, Albsig has been the market leader in claims settlement, with over 150,000 clients compensated during this period, while last year alone 17,157 clients received their compensation from the company.
He also emphasized that Albsig maintains the lowest number of pending claims, only 4% of the total market, as well as the lowest number of lawsuits, which clearly demonstrates the efficiency and transparency in its operations.
These indicators, added Mr. Dritan Kastrati, are the result of high standards of customer responsibility, which have built Albsig's reputation as a company with strong financial foundations and consolidated reliability in the Albanian and regional markets.
Ervin Spahiu, General Manager of ALBSIG Jetë, emphasized that the company is today a leader in the life insurance market, with a clear positioning in first place. This success, he said, is the result of a sustainable strategy and strong partnerships with financial institutions, supported by a correct and dedicated service for each client.
Spahiu underlined that the trust of thousands of citizens and associates in the banking system is a joint achievement of a dedicated team and the continuous support from ALBSIG, which has created strong synergies between the two companies.
He added that ALBSIG Jetë will continue to invest in innovation and quality, while maintaining the reputation of a company that guarantees security, stability and long-term trust. While Elton Korbi, General Director of Albsig Invest, spoke about the performance of private pension funds and their importance as an alternative savings tool.
He noted the steady growth of private pension funds managed by the company, as well as the importance they are gaining as an alternative and secure form of savings. He emphasized that Albsig Invest is leading the market with a professional approach, providing net returns of up to 5.5% per year for members and offering the lowest management cost in the market of only 1.2% per year.
According to him, this success is the result of the trust of the members and the close cooperation with the Albsig Group, which has created a solid foundation for the further development of the private pension market in Albania. Korbi underlined that the main objective remains the financial education of the public and the expansion of participation in pension funds, as the safest way to build a sustainable future.
Downtown One – the new icon of Tirana
At the end of the meeting, Viola Sella, representative of the management of the Downtown One building, pointed out the importance of the presence of important names in the Albanian financial sector, but also of other businesses in this complex.
Downtown One is not just a building, but a project that embodies the modern vision of urban development and the highest standards of construction in the country. This complex represents the fusion of innovation, technology and contemporary architecture, creating a space where work, life and community coexist in harmony.
For the construction team, this project has been a special challenge and responsibility, as Downtown One symbolizes not only an important achievement in construction, but also the development and potential of Albania to realize projects of this level.
The construction of Downtown One was done with utmost dedication to quality, safety and detail, bringing new standards in construction and management. Every phase of the project — from conception to completion — was carried out with professionalism, to create a functional, aesthetic and sustainable space.
A vision for the future
After the conference, journalists participated in an organized tour of ALBSIG's premises, where they saw up close the modern work spaces, training rooms, customer communication centers, and areas dedicated to the ALBSIG, ALBSIG Jetë, and Albsig Invest teams.
This investment, which represents the Kastrati Group's confidence in the potential of the Albanian market, shows that European standards are no longer a distant objective, but a reality that is being built every day in the heart of Tirana.
