Librazhd Prrenjas, Kozeli axis opens tomorrow: The segment will be asphalted in 10 days
Tomorrow at noon, the Librazhd Prrenjas road axis will be opened to traffic. It will be accessible to all types of vehicles. In an interview for SCAN TV, the director of ARRSH, Ami Kozeli, said that the temporary axis will initially be with compacted ballast and in 10 days, after compaction from the vehicles that will pass over it, it will be completely asphalted.
"What happened was natural, it was not something normal. So in this segment which is 200-250 meters, if I am not mistaken, in conditions until the construction site passes, we will keep it for about 10 days in this condition that it is, that is, compacted with ballast, while after 10 days when it will find a normal balance, we anticipate that an asphalt layer will be invested, to make the circulation normal in this area. But in these first days, I am reiterating, that it was in emergency conditions, that we acted day and night to open it as soon as possible, and I believe that we achieved our goal, because it could not have been done any sooner."
The head of the ARRSH said that the construction of a final axis will take at least 60 days to complete. Until then, according to him, the transition to the provisional axis will be completely normal.
