Negotiations, aim to close 10 chapters within the year/ Koçiu: We approved the national roadmap and partnerships with UN agencies

After the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu stated that two decisions have been approved within the framework of membership in the European Union. She emphasized that the aspiration is to begin discussions on the 10 final chapters within the year.
" We are working, we are waiting for the conclusion of the 8th Intergovernmental Conference, we are waiting for the recommendations for the final conditions and the aspiration is that within this year we have started discussions for 10 chapters. We need to sit down at the table with the European side to discuss all the tasks and recommendations one by one ," said Koçiu.
Deputy Prime Minister Koçiu stated that the roadmap for the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and the strategic partnership with UN agencies has been approved.
" The government today approved the national roadmap for achieving the 2030 sustainable development objectives. The document contains 66 measurable criteria that will guide the work of public institutions in accordance with Albania's '20-30 agenda, European development and integration, and the UN's sustainable development. An important document is the strategic partnership between the Albanian institutions and government with United Nations agencies for the years 2027-2031, which has undergone a broad phase of public consultations based on the sustainable development of human capital, sustainable economic transformation and green growth, thirdly, good governance, justice and human rights, " the Deputy Prime Minister said.
