A new pedestrian crossing will be built in Ksamil - Convenience for tourists and residents. 83.3 million lek for infrastructure improvement
The Municipality of Saranda has announced the opening of the tender for the construction of a pedestrian walkway, the segment of the "Dea - Isadora Duncan - Alida Hysku" streets in Ksamil with a limited fund of 83 million and 333 thousand lekë.
According to the document, this project envisages three roads located in an urban area in Ksamil. In their current state, they are mostly depreciated and degraded. The design of the internal asphalt road includes interventions in the road infrastructure, by paving one segment with stone slabs and paving with an asphalt layer.
The aim of the project is to improve the urban environment, create a genuine modern infrastructure and return it to the service of the community, given that it is a central road with a direct impact on the residents of this area. The direct beneficiaries of the project are the residents of the area, as well as foreign and domestic vacationers who choose to spend their holidays in these tourist areas.
The project will be designed in accordance with all norms and standards for design provided for by the legislation in force, and will be with European parameters, the document states. Also, safety for pedestrians and vehicles will be guaranteed, to avoid problems in movement. The beneficiaries of this project are the residents and visitors of the area.
