In which European country did the prices for holidays increase the most? -

The end of the year holidays often bring a noticeable increase in prices in many countries, due to the high demand for festive products and services. The inflation rate in Albania during November was higher than in October. The increase was also observed according to the measurement with the INSTAT method, but also according to the Eurostat method.

The Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices, which measures price growth according to the methodology of the 'European Statistics Agency', in November 2024 was recorded at 2.4%, from 2.3% in October. From the data, we recall that the inflation for the same month of this year according to the methodology of 'INSTAT' is 2%, from 1.9% in October.

But in which countries of Europe was the inflation of November higher than that of the previous month, i.e. October? According to Eurostat data, prices in November were more expensive than in October in Slovenia, North Macedonia, Lithuania, Cyprus and Spain.

On the other hand, in some European countries, November's inflation was lower than October's. In Estonia, Poland, Norway, Malta and Iceland, the highest "softening" of prices is observed.
