"Construction transformed the country" - Rama and Ibrahimaj, meeting with sector representatives: It has boosted the economy

Construction is the sector that transformed the country. This is what Prime Minister Edi Rama said in a meeting with entrepreneurs in the construction field.
He added that this is a sector that affects the state and municipal budgets, and contributes to the increase in salaries.
It is a sector that constantly receives blows, attacks, mud, and injures a large number of its protagonists.
Not everything is pure, clear as sunlight, but to put this evident success of Albania, this transformation that the construction sector makes tangible, into the economic framework is something disgusting and unacceptable.
From this project alone, before work even started, the Municipality of Tirana has received 14 million euros in taxes. 14 million euros is a considerable amount, while the city will gain a kindergarten, a kindergarten and the municipality may also gain a school, because the investor's commitment is to build a school at the moment the land is given to him. Of these 14 million euros, 3% is for housing. Whoever invests in these projects invests in added value. No poor person, no person living on a low or average salary, can buy these apartments. But with these constructions, the municipality receives a 3% tax, which is the housing tax, which belongs to affordable housing. So, these constructions also serve affordable housing.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, said that construction has contributed 17% to the Albanian economy over the last 10 years.
