The government approves the year-end bonus for retirees!
The Council of Ministers at today's meeting approved the year-end bonus for pensioners. Minister Blendi Gonxja declared:
"Proud that we approved today in the government the year-end bonus for retirees, which is the largest ever. 724,933 pensioners benefit, of which 511,173 with a pension of up to 20,000 ALL will receive the 150 euro bonus at the end of this year and 213,760 pensioners with pensions over 20,000 ALL will receive the 100 euro bonus.
65,763 disabled pensioners and 44,561 family pensioners, regardless of how much pension they receive, will have the full bonus of 150 euros. Included in this year-end bonus and 2,900 early military pensions.
Of the 91 thousand village pensions, as an average the bonus increases the annual pension by 12% for 5,174 disabled pensioners in the village the annual pension is increased by 14.5% and for the 2,300 family pensions in the village this bonus has the effect of increasing the annual bonus by 66% ".
