The government returns money to freelancers!
After the end of the government meeting, the Minister of Finance Petrit Malaj said that the 5 million euros prepaid will be returned to the freelancers.
"6450 tax payers will be reimbursed with a total fund of 501 million ALL. The refund process will be completed by December 31, 2024, and we will charge the Tax Directorate for the success of this process.
In the following, the Government will make an assessment of all exemptions and tax rates that are in force. We will make an assessment if they will stay, or if they will have to be revised".
