Voting process closes/ Mati and Tepelena lead participation, Vlora ranks last
Today, local elections were held in five municipalities of the country, where the voting process ended at 18:00. Albanians voted in: Vlorë, Berat, Tepelena, Cerrik and Mat. According to the CEC announcement, the participation at 18:00 in the five municipalities reached 18.72%. 13 candidates from political parties, as well as independent candidates, participated in this race.
Based on specific data for each municipality, it results that the Municipality of Mati recorded the highest participation, with 34.63%. It was followed by the Municipality of Tepelena with 34.63%. Meanwhile, the Municipality of Vlora recorded the lowest participation, with 12.54%, and this result did not change until the end of the process.
