Prime Minister Rama: The land that was forcibly divided between neighboring investors will be expropriated and turned into an olive grove
End of stories of conflict over properties and a message for all investors who manage and develop tourism assets. "The mission for Albania's tourism cannot be violated with violent behavior." With these arguments, Prime Minister Rama intervened, after the conflict between two entrepreneurs in the tourism sector yesterday in Vlora.
"We have decided to expropriate, to expropriate for the public interest the entire area of that banal and brutal conflict of yesterday, and according to the law to turn it into a public and tourist asset for all, a natural oasis for the blessed olive tree, a living park where the most indigenous Albanian varieties and those most representative of the Mediterranean will be planted, as well as all the olive oils produced in Albania will be exhibited."
"A new information address, a new space of knowledge, of tourism of experience. A land that violently divided two neighboring investors, disgusting all of Albania, will return to a space that unites everyone, to a space of peace under the shadow of the blessed olive tree," said Prime Minister Rama in a message shared this Friday afternoon on social networks.
