Construction of new substation in the center of Tirana nears - EBRD financing of 22.5 million euros within the framework of the "Green Cities" program

A 110/20kV underground electrical substation is expected to be built in the center of Tirana, which will guarantee safety and be sustainable with electricity for the future.
The agreement for financing the construction of the substation was recently signed between OSHEE Group and the EBRD. With an investment of 22.5 million euros, the project is part of the Green City of Tirana Action Plan (GCAP), within the EBRD's "Green Cities" program.
The "Center" substation is expected to be a contemporary work, in changing the safe parameters of electricity, through three transformers with a power of 40/50MVA, which is expected to serve about 140 thousand residents of the capital.
