"Europe begins here", Ministers Hoxha and Pirdeni hold dialogue with students on the European integration process

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, together with the Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption, Adea Prideni, launched today a cycle of talks focused on Europe, with students and lecturers of the Magistrates' School in Tirana.
The focus of this tour, which will continue throughout Albania, is the dialogue on the integration process and the common European future under the title: "EU and You - Europe Starts Here".
According to Minister Hoxha, this type of dialogue is of particular importance because "while meetings mostly take place in Brussels, reforms are implemented here, in Albania."
"Monitoring is carried out there, but the impact is felt here; some of the most important decisions are made there, but the results remain here, with our citizens," said the Foreign Minister.
According to him, the European Union is our great construction site, where each of us has a role.
"It is a history that we are writing together, every hour and every day, with work, dedication and faith in Albania's European future," emphasized Minister Hoxha.
At the meeting with the new magistrates, Minister Pirdeni focused on the essential role that magistrates will have once Albania becomes a member of the EU.
"Today, the magistrate who will graduate from this school will grow and develop professionally not only on the basis of a national profile, they will need to be projected into the quality of a judge who must implement European legislation," declared Pirdeni.
Today, according to Pirden, we are not measured by the credibility of the reform, but by the credibility of the system in practice, by the efficiency, by the consolidation of the independence and quality of justice.
