"EuroAgro Albania, the farmers' platform" - Rama: It is not a new website, but an important instrument for the sector

“EuroAgro Albania 2025-2030”, is the new platform that was launched today by Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister of Agriculture Andis Salla, in a meeting with farmers. According to Prime Minister Rama, this platform will not be a new website, but a valuable instrument for farmers.
"Euro Agro Albania is not a new website, but an instrument that all of you who are on the farm and want to increase exports, production, quality, capacities, funds available for your projects should take, enrich and turn into an instrument of daily work. It is a guide for all of you at every step of the negotiation process, it is a source of information on standards, deadlines and concrete obligations. It is a dialogue channel, everyone can enter and communicate, ask and get answers about aspects of the problems they face. It is also a coordination tool that guarantees continuous interaction between you and us. I hope that it will also be UBT because it is a new door, open to all of you."
During his speech, the Minister of Agriculture emphasized that the requirements for agriculture are very concrete, with a focus on digitalization, monitoring and control. While the EuroAgro platform will be a practical platform that will help the sector adapt to EU criteria.
“In Chapter 13, the requirements are very concrete: digitalization, monitoring, reporting and control. On our part, the commitment is to strengthen data collection and electronic reporting with EU structures. We know well that no one can cope with these transformations alone. This is why today we launch “EuroAgro Albania 2025-2030”, as a practical mechanism to help you prepare step by step. The platform will specifically bring: A dedicated assistance line called “Blue Number”. Digital information platform and virtual assistant on the Farmer Portal. Information points, guidance materials and training. At the same time, the platform will be extended through municipalities, extension services, chambers of commerce and professional associations, so that information reaches everyone quickly and completely.”
