General Directorate of Customs: Over 7500 kg of flour beyond the expiration date is blocked!
The Durrës Customs Branch announces that during a physical inspection of the premises of a commercial entity, authorized to use the Inward Processing Regime, it blocked goods that had passed their expiration date.
According to the announcement by customs officers, the quantity of 2,500 kg of rice flour, with an expiration date of 01.04.2025, and the quantity of 5,150 kg of pizza flour, with an expiration date of 07.04.2025, have been blocked. Durrës Customs has initiated procedures, in cooperation with the structures of the National Food Authority, in anticipation of the relevant competencies, up to the destruction of the goods.
The General Directorate of Customs expresses its maximum commitment to the implementation of legality and encourages economic operators to respect their obligations to guarantee the security and protection of citizens.
