Prime Minister Edi Rama introduces the new Director of the National Agency for the Information Society, Igli Tafa

Prime Minister Edi Rama has introduced the new head of the National Agency for the Information Society (AKSHI), Igli Tafa. Among other things, the head of the executive promised employees a salary increase, so that they continue to give their contribution to this institution.
"In this evolution, we are living in a phase where it is not the presumption of innocence that guides their activity that should transfer this system to justice, but the presumption of guilt, this is a dramatic element. If there is an investigation into the AKSHI, in a just world, everyone should be presumed innocent while everyone is presumed guilty. Some of you here are UFOs, who live with a computer screen and can forget to eat for several days, when they have to face this brutality, they rightly feel disoriented. I want to say something, in the end justice prevails. There is a cost, in these conditions it may be higher, but it prevails. For us, it is important that the AKSHI continues its work, to be the lighthouse that orients all ship movements and shows where the port is. I want to encourage you for this, I know that this is not the essence, but together with the minister we have decided to intervene in the legislation and increase your salaries, telling you that "We value you, and we do not want you to abandon this service and make your talent available to the private sector. We want you to believe that this is the place, this is your home, you are the owner of the house where you make life easier for so many people," said Rama.
