"Diella will go to another level" - Rama introduces the new head of AKSHI, promises salary increases for employees

Prime Minister Edi Rama introduced Igli Tafa as the new head of the National Agency for the Information Society. In his speech, the Prime Minister praised the work of the experts working at the National Agency for the Information Society, while announcing that there will be a salary increase.
"We have decided to intervene in the legislation to make a significant increase in your salaries, to show that we value you very much, we value you very much, and we do not want you to abandon public service and make your talent available to the private sector. You are one of the most irreplaceable stones in the mosaic of the Albanian state and for this reason you should feel very proud and feel a responsibility that goes beyond the individual. We will make AKSHI have the highest salaries in Albania and no private enterprise will have the capacity to compete with it. This is the goal and this is what we will do," said Rama.
The Prime Minister also announced an important collaboration between AKSHI and the leading Artificial Intelligence company, NVIDIA.
"Soon the NVIDIA team will arrive here to start work and take Diella to a whole new level. Other challenges that you will face are related to public procurement, completely transforming the approach of a new administration and becoming a model for others. We will work with NVIDIA there too, just as we are working with Microsoft," the Prime Minister said.
Meanwhile, Tafa, in his speech, said that he will work to advance the modernization of services for citizens and businesses.
"AKSHI will do its utmost, its utmost dedication to provide increasingly sustainable services and at the same time will also offer services such as e-Albania 2.0, or the advancement of AI technologies, to enable us to be leaders, already in the Region, yes, but also beyond the Region, in the field of digitalization and advanced technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence", said Tafaj.
