"We will increase subsidies for every farmer by 6 times" - Berisha:

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has held meetings with businesses in the Kruja craft market. Speaking about the agricultural sector, he promised to increase subsidies for every farmer by 6 times.

We remove every barrier, no, there are 100 heads, no, there are 10 heads, no, there are so many hectares, so many hectares. Every farmer will be subsidized for every unit of production, for every head of livestock, for every seedling planted. There will be soft loans, 80 percent of the interest for farmers and small businesses will be covered by the state. The import of agricultural inputs that are not sold in at least two EU countries will be prohibited by law. As well as medicines that are not sold in at least two EU countries.

According to Berisha, we will return a good portion of the money we receive from citizens to you for salaries, pensions, and we will establish the living wage.

The living wage is a truly minimal amount, 200 euros, but it is an amount that takes every Albanian out of extreme poverty. A person who receives 6.3 euros a day is not in extreme poverty. He is poor, but not in extreme poverty. So with this we become a fairer, more moral society and we prove that we will not leave anyone in suffering, in pain, in misery. This within 100 days. Secondly, we will raise low wages to 500 euros. Today's wages, if they had followed the law of inflation, low wages today should have been 730 euros. But these people only thought about high wages, they tripled, quadrupled high wages.

Berisha added that, in addition to the philosophy of returning money to citizens, we have another, leaving money to businessmen to expand their activity, to expand jobs, to produce more. In this way, he said, within the first year we will have a large increase in production.
