"Manufacturing industry, progress in the world market" - Rama: The

Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, Delina Ibrahimaj, paid a visit to one of the four largest companies in Europe in the global sportswear market. Albania constitutes one of the main bases of the group and is becoming its center.

"It is truly a pleasure and a source of pride to visit this reality that contradicts all those voices, who at a certain moment, whether from within the industry, material ordering, or from outside, pointed out that "the strengthening of the lek was the end of this industry, everyone would be out of work, etc., etc.", because this reality shows that what we have maintained since the beginning is the only way, increasing quality, increasing competitive capacities and forgetting the old history, that free labor is a competitive advantage in today's world ," said Rama.

In this company, the dignified treatment of employees is a priority, starting from salaries above the average level of the manufacturing sector, various bonuses, as well as optimal working conditions, with digitalized processes.

"There is no worker here who is paid less than 500 thousand old lek, net and the average salary is over 700 thousand lek, while they also have a very good bonus and career advancement system. It is very important for employees to have this security, first of all to have good working conditions and the efficiency part is also important. The tailoring and textile production sector has had a problem in recent years, which has been the issue of the euro, so with economic growth the lek has strengthened, the euro has weakened and all exporters have felt this, meanwhile today we are in a factory that has 800 employees whose salaries are above average and above the minimum wage and just because it has automated processes and follows an efficient system, it has managed to save 11% of its costs, which in money, translates into 20 thousand euros per day less expenses just from automation", said Ibrahimaj.

This factory has 800 employees, working according to European standards in seven different departments, producing professional sportswear for the European market.
